Asiawater Expo & Conference 2010

Many were awed by the Ebara booth during Asia’s biggest biennial event concerning the water and wastewater industry.  As one of the biggest player in the water industry, Ebara participated in Asiawater Expo & Conference 2010 held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 6 – 8 April 2010. 

Trade delegates, visitors, conference speakers and government officials gathered for this highly anticipated event.  This event serves as a platform to enhance the growth of the water industry.  Ebara is proud to associate with such growth by playing a part in exchanging knowledge and experience in the water sector with major players. 

Ebara’s display of a large-sized CN pump along with many other signature products greatly attracted the attention of the visitors.  Many were seen gathered at Ebara booth to learn more about Ebara products and services.  Business Partners of EPM showed their support by attending the event.  They greeted their customers and helped in briefing Ebara products to the visitors. 

Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water YB Dato’ Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui listened attentively as Managing Director Dato’ Yap KF led him to a tour in Ebara booth during his visit.  After the tour, YB Dato’ Sri Peter Chin presented a Gold Sponsor Award to Dato’ Yap as a token of appreciation for Ebara’s support towards this event.  Other VVIPs who have visited Ebara booth include YB Datuk Jacob Dungau Sagan, YM Raja Nazrin, YB Dato’ Seri Douglas Uggah Embas, YB Sylvester Entri Ak Muran, and YB Dr Stephen Rundi Ak Utom.

EPM Grand Opening

Ebara Pumps Malaysia Sdn Bhd (EPM) officially opened its factory building with service work-shop facilities at UEP Subang Jaya Industrial Park, Malaysia. 

This event was attended by 290 guests; mainly dealers, suppliers and customers with Mr. Shotaro Kuryu as the main Guest of Honour. 

The event took place at 11am on 10/10/2009 with welcome address from Dato' Yap Kuak Fong, Managing Director of EPM, followed by speech from Managing Executive Officer of EBARA Corporation Mr. Shotaro Kuryu.  Ribbon cutting ceremony was performed by Mr. Shotaro Kuryu, Mr. Masahiro Katagi, Dato' Yap Kuak Fong, Datin Elaine Yap and Mr. Foo Kien Heng; followed by Lion Dance performance that entertained the visiting guests.

It is the hope that with the new facilities, EPM is capable of providing dealers and customers with efficient after-sales service and workshop repair works aiming at improving customer satisfaction. 

EPM is now Bigger and Better!

Water Malaysia 2009

The biennial water event is back, and Ebara is proud to participate in one of Malaysias major events. The 5th Water Malaysia 2009 took place at Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur from 19th - 21st May 2009.

This three-day event was successfully organized by The Malaysian Water Association with the support of the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water and other major partners in the water industries. To further enhance the development of the water industry, Water Inno Awards, which is the first water innovation award in Malaysia, was held.

The conference on Industry Best Practices held on the first day at 7.30pm was highly supported by professionals in the water and waste water industry. It serves as a networking platform for information on current happenings in the Asian water industry. Some of the topics discussed were Asset Management, Capacity Building, Catchment and Management, Customer Services, NRW & NRC (Non Revenue Customers), Regulatory and Enforcement, Water Conservation and Environment Protection.

Ebara booth gained the attention of many throughout the event. Trade visitors, customers, and potential buyers were well treated with generous hospitality. They were given informative knowledge on Ebara quality pumping products available.

VVIP visitors include Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water, YB Dato Peter Chin Fah Kui. YB Dato Yap KF greeted them sincerely and to their enthusiasm, led them into an impressive tour at Ebara booth.

EPM staff demonstrated sincerity and dedication during the whole event, introducing Ebara products and meeting customer requirements. It is certain that visitors left satisfied and impressed with what Ebara offers. All thanks to the commitment of EPM staff.
